Will My Dog Fit the Buddy Rider

 One of the most common questions and also the hardest. The maximum weight recommended is 13.5kgs, however girth and height of you dog also need to be taken into account.  

The Buddy Rider is designed to fit "most" bikes as long as the distant between seat post and handle bars is 48.5cm. You can click on this link to see further information.  

Extremely easy to fit.  Your unit comes with instructions and all the tools to assemble. 

The Buddy Rider is 20cm at its widest point so for most people will have to splay your legs slightly, which will be a little different to start with.  Once you have it attached to your bike we recommend riding your bike without your dog to get use to it.

Every dog is different, however generally most dogs take to it straight away.  Once assembled we suggested fitting the dog while its on the floor to get them use to it.  Start with a short ride to get both you and dog comfortable.
